The game's combat combines character movement, Action Card and a three-person team. The official introduction mentions Mortal Blow Soul Drive that collaborates with the team; for the effects of different characters and modes, please refer to the in-game instructions.

Action Card: Read the distance first, then select the action

A character's Arts may be a continuous attack, a dash, a ranged attack, or a weapon extension. Taking Substitute Soul ReaperIchigo Kurosaki as an example, Arts 1 is a continuous physical attack, and Arts 2 is a remote Spiritual Pressure attack. Judging the current distance and the opponent's movements before choosing can make it easier for Skill to hit.

This is a combat skill type; character attributes and physical/Spiritual Pressure damage are separate categories.

Skill and Mortal Blow have their own uses

Skill does not necessarily directly cause damage: Ichigo Kurosaki's Skill will increase attack, and Rukia Kuchiki's Skill can restrain the opponent. Mortal Blow usually corresponds to the character's signature action, such as Ichigo Kurosaki's Getsugatensho. First read the triggering conditions of gain or abnormal status, and then arrange the timing of use.

Substitution: Give the gain to teammates

Some character abilities are triggered when entering or returning to standby. For example, the inherent ability of Rangiku Matsumoto will increase the critical hit rate of teammates after returning to standby, and the inherent ability of Yasutora Sado will increase the team's damage when entering the battlefield. When substituting, pay attention to the status of your teammates and the actual cooldown.

Action sequence example

  1. Observe the distance and choose the Arts that can hit.
  2. Pay attention to your own or the opponent's status and confirm whether the character's ability meets the triggering conditions.
  3. Connect with Mortal Blow or switch teammates within the window where the buff is valid.
Count is the counting unit used in the official Skill description; the original unit is retained here and is not converted directly into seconds.
